Encompassing 55 acres along the Neuse River, this nature park features more than 40 different types of native and exotic animals, three 550-gallon aquariums, a saltwater touch tank, and fishponds stocked with catfish. In addition, the park boasts nature trails, an 18-foot climbing rock and opportunities for fishing, picnicking, camping and canoeing. It is located in southeast Kinston.
